About Us
Welcome to anime&hiphop!
We are a streetwear brand designed in London.
This brand was created based on our love for anime and hiphop.
Our goal is to combine these two entities from Japan x America. Recently anime in hiphop has surfaced with the likes of Kanye West and RZA referencing it, and vica versa with Samurai Champloo and Afro Samurai.
The styles and creativity of anime and hip-hop draw so many parallels even though their origins are vastly different. Powerful storytelling and emotional bonds - we can't imagine life without it, can you?
Our designs are hand drawn and we take pride in our nuanced approach to our designs. We were tired of seeing anime merchandise that were brazen and outlandish, we wanted something subtle and drippy whilst still paying homage!
If we love Mother Earth, she will love us back. We believe in sustainable fashion, so we only produce items we get an order for, avoiding textile waste from overproduction. The inks we use for printing are water-based and free of harmful chemicals. We hope to do more a company to help protect our Earth!
